Ryuuji Sugashita is Tomoko Saeki's boyfriend. When "Mega-Playboy" Junta starts to seduce her, he wants to get revenge. When he is accidentally shot by one of Karin Aoi's DCM bullets, he gets a very powerful gift, which he uses to attempt to molest Ami to get back at Junta, and ultimately uses it in an attempt to make him equal to the strength of the "Mega-Playboy".

Appearance

Ryuuji has short charcoal gray hair with a light gray shine and has two fringes in each sides and another fringe which was sprouting in the center and gray eyes.

He was commonly seen wearing a pale blue long sleeved buttoned-up shirt which is partially opened, black pants and brown shoes. When he was accidentally shot by Karin's DMC bullets, it has a bullet hole on his shirt.

Ryuji sees his girlfriend Tomoko after he demonstrated his power to alter his real face into Tomoko's face in her likeness.

After displaying his powers from getting shot by altering his face for the first time, he reveals his light violet boxers beneath his black pants before he takes it off when he comically checks upon himself to think his body was also altered like from his face and his bare legs are shown to be hairy when the real Tomoko had seen him in her facial appearance, causing her to scream in fright and was horrified to see another version of her.

After receiving powers similar to Junta's alter-ego, Mega-Playboy's. Ryuuji wears different battle costumes.

He was initially seen wearing winter casual outfits or his other casual outfit where he disguises himself as Junta by altering his DNA within his real face.

When he had a first fight with Karin and later getting defeated by Junta in his Mega-Playboy form, he wears a black armored tunic with a gold trim as its greaves being white with black designs, a white long sleeve shirt and black balaclava underneath, white baggy pants and white knee-high boots with gold linings. He also has a long white cape on his back, gray gauntlets with a gold trim along with white gloves where it conceals the knife blade on his right wrist and a long black and gold opera mask on his face which its long ribbons are tied at the back. When he was over assimilated his DNA, he became grotesque in appearance and the sleeves from his battle costume are ripped on the left to became sleeveless and his right are ripped from his mid-forearm.

His other outfit in the OVA version where he was under Mori's control, he wears a futuristic suit; a black bodysuit beneath his green mini armor in a white trim with short puffy sleeves resembling, pauldrons and white futuristic knee-high boots.

Personality

Ryuuji is described being cool, calm and serious and both a stereotypical playboy and a chick magnet in which he frequently cheats Tomoko to hang out with any other women. But this changes when he was driven by revenge after he sees Tomoko became romantically attracted to Junta Momonari's alter-ego, Mega-Playboy, turning him as a main antagonist in the series. His revenge attempts are shown to be backfired when he sent three thugs to beat Junta out to get Tomoko, but is instead one of the thugs had sexually assaulted Tomoko by ripping her school uniform on the back and trying to strip her bra and panties by force until Junta rescues her from them in his Mega-Playboy form, causing him to retreat back to his mansion by riding a car and trying to stop them from kissing by attempting to punch Junta's Mega-Playboy in the face until Karin accidentally shoots him with a DCM bullet. The reason Tomoko does this to him because he had frequently cheating on her.

Ryuuji's behavior eventually changes to become more villainy after Karin accidentally shot him with a DCM bullet, he became vengeful, arrogant, haughty, obssession with power and hell bent on fighting Junta in his Mega-Playboy form. He also has powers similar to Junta's Mega-Playboy form which he uses teleportation, superhuman strength, higher reflexes and high durability. He also has two other powers on his disposal. The first power he had was DNA facial manipulation where he can alter his DNA by changing his facial appearance. He demonstrates this ability by altering his real face into the face of his girlfriend Tomoko except his physical body and later disguising himself into Junta in his Mega-Playboy form using this ability to cause harm on the girls including Ami to smear the real Junta by his attempt of molesting her and to torment his girlfriend Tomoko. His second power was DNA assimilation where he uses his hands to absorb people's DNA as well as copying someone else's fighting style as his own. It was demonstrated in episode 11 when Ryuuji absorbs most of the fighters' DNA as his own after he challenges them to a fight inside of his mansion. Then his equal fight with Karin in which he absorbs her DNA and copying her fighting style and abilities to make her overpowered by him. The fight against Karin also revealed his sadistic nature. Before taking the fight more seriously he allowed Karin to hit him with several kicks to study her fighting style. Then after Karin's seeming victory he informs her, that he was just toying with her and is about to take the offense. As he started to fight more seriously he enjoyed it to overpower Karin and punish her with multiple punches an kicks. Even after absorbing her DNA Ryuuji kept the pressure up and kicked Karin into a pillar. In the last stage of the fight Ryuuji abused Karin further by punching and kicking her across the room before one final powerful kick to Karin's belly that send her flying against a wall. The kick was so hard that the wall got damaged when Karin crashed into it and collapsed. Even as it was clear at this moment that Karin has been defeated, Ryuuji approached Karin and demonstrated her his true power before knocking her out with a single punch.

In his grotesque appearance after his over absorption with his DNA and his body can't handle it, he can elongate his left arm, resembling a sword blade but was stop by Junta's Mega-Playboy form by punching him through his gut to return him back to normal.

In the OVA version, Ryuji retains his personality in the beginning of the anime series but became a living puppet under Mori's control since the DCM bullet had living inside him enables him to control his powers until he returns to normal by losing a radio frequency and being knocked off with Lulara inside the coaster being trapped by Karin.
