Masakazu Katsura (桂 正和, Katsura Masakazu) is a Japanese mangaka who wrote and illustrated the manga series DNA2. He was born December 10, 1962 in the prefecture of Fukui in Japan.

The Shadow Lady manga was licensed and released by Dark Horse manga between 1998 and 2001. Video Girl Ai was licensed and released by Viz Media between 2003 and 2006. An anime OVA was made of the series, which was released in Japan in 1992 and licensed and released by Viz Media in 2001. A live-action movie was also made of Video Girl Ai, which was released in Japan in 1991. I"s has been licensed and released by Viz Media in the United States. It has also been turned into two anime OVA series, both also licensed by Viz Media, called From I"s and I"s Pure.
