Ami Kurimoto, when not at school, spends most of her time working in her father's ramen shop, Kurimoto Noodle House. She is Junta Momonari's childhood friend and secretly loves him, but tries to hide it from everyone, including herself. She is also best friends with Kotomi Takanashi. Will her love for Junta be able to withstand Junta's tranformation into the Mega-Playboy as well as her own self-denial about her feelings?

Appearance

Ami has short brown hair with light brown shine in a full fringe and brown eyes.

She was commonly seen wearing her Fukoma winter school uniform.

Like Junta, Ami wears casual outfits throughout the anime and the OVA.

She was usually seen wearing a long sleeve hooded shirts or a long sleeve shirt along with her denim blue jeans and white tennis shoes with different colored socks. In episode 3, she also wears a dark blue denim vest to match up her dark blue jeans.

In episode 8, Ami wears a white long sleeve mini hoodie with an orange and pink long sleeve shirt, blue loose jeans with pale blue folded sleeves at the edge and brown shoes.

In the opening scene, Ami was also seen wearing a white T-shirt with her blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Personality

Ami is described as being calm, serious and mature and is also friendly to both Junta, Karin and her best friend, Kotomi. Unlike most girls who befall from Junta's Mega-Playboy state, Ami is immune to his ability to swoon and agitation and she was the only person that Junta can speak normally. It was demonstrated in episode 3 when Junta attempts flirt Ami in his Mega-Playboy state causing her to punch him in the face. Her punches also snaps Junta from that state. It reveals that Ami has feelings for Junta and she had kept it from him and everyone else. She can be angry at times if she causes a misunderstanding towards Junta who thinks he was on to other girls and can be emotional at times because of her feelings to him as well as jumping into conclusions while blaming Junta for nearly molesting her until she believes him in the next episode after Kotomi had spoken to her about Junta and his real actions and realizing that the Junta she had seen who attempting to molest her was Ryuji in disguise who tries to smear him for revenge. Ami is also shows her determination when she takes Junta to Ryuji's mansion with her bicycle after learning that Karin went to Ryuji's mansion to fight him and after Junta was incapacitated by Ryuji, Ami emotionally cries while convincing him that no matter about his form, she loves him, telling Junta to take Ryuji down by triggering his transformation as a Mega-Playboy.

In the OVA version, she retains her personality in the anime and she and Karin are joining forces to rescue Junta who is under Mori's control and maintains her friendship with Karin.
